Here at Kids Circus Workshops we aim to do one thing: provide high quality circus skills workshops for you.

Whether you are a school, a youth group, running an event, or party, we believe the best way to learn circus is from the experts. That’s why all our circus skills workshop tutors are experienced circus artists with their own shows and specialist abilities.

Because we are full time professional circus artists, we can put on the highest quality circus skills workshops with ease. So everybody can enjoy a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Whether you are old, young, or with limited mobility, we can offer a workshop for you.

We provide everything you need: Circus props and equipment, a self contained workshop area, PA systems and of course the highest quality tutors; with the skills to put on a fantastic show during the day to inspire and entertain your pupils, guests or the general public.

We also pride ourselves on our paperwork and customer care. Therefore risk assessments, invoices, promotional materials are all provided as part of our professional service, a service you can trust.

School Workshops

From reception to year 6 we offer a wonderful circusy experience that will enthuse and ignite your pupils desire to learn and move. We specialise in non-acrobatic circus so everybody is able to gain access to the experience.

We provide supplementary worksheets and assemblies for children to build upon their experience learning circus; allowing them to ask questions, go at their own speed and enjoy the unique sense of achievement learning special skills can bring.

From 20 minute taster sessions to 3-day packages leading to our in-house circus show, we pride ourselves on our quality equipment, professional tutors and offering a tailor made service for you.

As a small company with lots of experience we offer schools a chance to tailor a day to your needs:

  • Starting a circus topic and want to have a circusy assembly to get the children excited? No problem. 
  • Want a rewards day at the end of term that focuses on resilience and achievement? No problemo.

A gem of an area for your event

Circus Skills Area

We bring EVERYTHING.

  • A quality PA system to fill the area with music (not just the greatest showman soundtrack on repeat!) and give announcements of any shows.
  • Our colourful bunting clearly and cheerfully defines the area, and we set up mini tents that younger children love to run in and out of.
  • Tonnes of quality equipment. We are working circus professionals, so we know exactly how to keep our kit in tip top condition; we keep it regularly safety checked and clean.

As parents we know what families really want at events; free rolling activities that they can drop in and out of at their own pace. And that’s what we provide. Because our area offers rolling entertainment for kids, families will often base themselves around our area for the full day.

We can intersperse circus shows throughout the day and provide a great circus skills workshop area in between. That means we can easily fill gaps in your schedules.

All we need is a 10M squared area to add something really special to your event.

A great icebreaker!

Corporate team building

We also provide circus skills for adults as a corporate team-building activity. This can be a great ice breaker for a new team or a chance to further improve interpersonal relationships within a group.

We know that learning circus skills isn't everybody's cup of tea. We use our experience and people skills to introduce a varied selection of props in a no-pressure light-hearted environment.

If things are introduced in the right way and the instructions are clear and uncomplicated, adults love the challenge of learning a new physical skill just as much as children!

Our workshops can be a welcomed stress buster as part of a work day. Parents especially love the idea that they might come home with brand new skills to impress the kids!
