A Kids circus workshops work well as a school based activity: As the start of a circus project, a reward day or simply as an addition to PE. We can offer a single session, a half day or a full day. Or speak to us about regular term time activities.

Below is a sample of a circus day at a primary school in 2014

09:00 - 09:30 assembly [including introduction to performers and short demonstration. Assembly can be to the full school or to a particular year].

09:30 - 10:30 session 1 (juggling and spinning plates).

10:30 - 10:50 break.

11:00 - 12:15 session 2 (diabolo and hulahoop).

12.15 - 13:05 lunch.

13:15 - 15:15 afternoon session (creating the show and practising skills).

16:00 - performance to parents.

This day used two tutors teaching a school year of 55 children. Each tutor can teach a maximum of 30 children with a minimum of 2 adult helpers.

We cover all ages of primary and secondary school. Our tutors can teach different age groups in the same day if you want to offer taster sessions.

Circus skills offers a chance for children to be active, work on hand eye coordination, demonstrate patience and also allow the children to get an amazing sense of achievement and satisfaction.
